FREE “ADVENTURE” WALKS

2-3 Hours covering 3-5 miles – varied ratings

28 April Oak Beck stretch of Harrogate RingwayAmber
Meet at Hydro Swimming Pool and Gym Car Park
09:45 for 10:00 start - duration about 1  to 1½ hours

Along the Oak Beck River on the Harrogate Ringway toward Birk Crag. Muddy at places so rocks and tree roots slippery. Some bits not fenced off towards the river so you need to watch out where you place your feet. A few climbs and descents but nothing major.
I will be walking as Walk Leader with the Speedy Group for a challenging walk. This walk is so easy to follow that we can also accommodate a Slower Group who would like to go a more leisurely pace. I will provide a map for the slower walkers. We will all start and finish together.

Expect to get MUDDY! So please bring a pair of extra shoes to change into if you would like to join us for a coffee in the Hydro cafe after the walk – or use the toilets there. They don’t like muddy shoes!
